Programming Instructions:

  1. Prepare for Programming:
    • Gather all remotes you wish to program for your vehicle.
    • Sit in the vehicle, close all doors, and ensure no one else is inside.
    • Fasten the driver's seatbelt.
  2. Initial Remote Programming Procedure:
    • Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position without starting the engine.
    • Press and hold the "UNLOCK" button on the working remote for 4-10 seconds.
    • While holding the "UNLOCK" button, also press and hold the "PANIC" button for 1 second, then release both buttons. The vehicle will chime to indicate that it has entered remote programming mode.
    • Within 30 seconds of the chime, press the "UNLOCK" button on the same remote. A chime will confirm the remote has been reprogrammed.
    • For additional remotes, press the "UNLOCK" button on each within 30 seconds.
    • Turn the key to "OFF" position and remove it from the ignition.
    • Test all remotes to ensure they function correctly.
  3. Alternative Remote Programming Procedure (if the initial procedure fails):
    • Repeat steps 1 and 2.
    • After the system chimes, press and hold both the "LOCK" and "UNLOCK" buttons simultaneously on the same remote used in step 2 for several seconds then release. The system will chime again to indicate the remote is recognized.
    • Press and release the "UNLOCK" button on the same remote. Another chime will sound to indicate the remote has been programmed.
    • Repeat for all remotes needing programming.
    • Turn the key to "OFF" position and remove it from the ignition.
    • Test all remotes to confirm programming.
