Important Notes Before You Start:
- This procedure requires one working ignition key
- The following vehicles must be programmed by an automotive locksmith or dealership:
Programming Procedure
- Insert the working key into the ignition
- Turn the ignition switch to ACC or ON position (as far as you can go without starting the engine)
- Turn the radio to off
- Press and hold down the "DISP" button on the radio for at least 5 seconds until the settings menu appears
- Press "SEEK up" or "SEEK down" arrow buttons until FOB PROG option appears on the display
- Press the "PREV" or "NEXT" button to navigate to the submenu. An asterisk will mark the current selection, and "BEGIN" will be displayed
- Press the "DISP" button to begin programming. When "PUSH FOB" appears, press and hold the "LOCK" and "UNLOCK" buttons on the first transmitter simultaneously for 15 seconds. A chime will sound, confirming the transmitter has been learned
- Repeat step 7 for each additional transmitter, up to a total of four remotes. There's no need to press the "DISP" button again—simply press and hold the "LOCK" and "UNLOCK" buttons on each additional transmitter to program, with a maximum of four transmitters per vehicle
- The selected mode is now set. You can either exit programming mode by following the instructions provided later in this section or proceed to program the next available feature on your vehicle
- EXIT (Exit Feature Customization Mode): This option allows you to exit the vehicle customization programming mode. To exit: scroll until "EXIT" option appears on the display, then press the "DISP" button to exit programming. A chime will he sound to verify the exit
